Temporary Passwords

If you just received an email with your new account information or you requested a password reset then you may have been given a temporary password. You should enter your current password in second box and in the last boxes you have to type the password of your choice (you have to type it twice the same way). After this then your password is reset and you should be able to log in.

How Do I Configure Microsoft Outlook?

First, let us make a distinction. There is Outlook that you log into in your web-browser - this is referred to as OWA, or Outlook Web App. Then there is the Outlook Desktop client that comes with Microsoft Office that you install on your computer - this is simply called Outlook.

You don't need to do anything to make OWA work - it's already prepared.

Configuring Outlook, however, depends on which version of Office you are using.

What is Exchange?

When you think of Outlook you might just think of email and perhaps calendars and you can have this in just about any email client. But Exchange takes this a bit further by allowing for more interaction amoungst users of an organization. This includes file and calendar sharing, organization contacts, messaging, presence, groups, and even special interaction with other Office365 services.

Exchange is only available to Outlook and Outlook online clients. See also:
